Light for the city & beyond
We are a community compelled by a Jesus-centered vision to be 'Light for the city & beyond'. We believe that one encounter with God can completely transform everything. Our church is all about empowering people to gather and scatter. We gather to worship and pray, to open God's word, to be transformed by His presence. And then we scatter as compassionate followers of Jesus to be light-bearers, peace-makers, joy-bringers, and city-shapers wherever God sends us. We want to see our city and beyond experience the love and power of God.

Vision (26/27)
‘Live like the rain is coming’
This season, we sense a clear call from God to live like the rain is coming. To be a people marked by bold faith, persistent prayer, and expectant hearts. Our vision remains to be ‘light for the city and beyond’, but the way we step into that calling is deepening. We believe God is inviting us into a new level of spiritual hunger and dependence, where we don’t settle for what we see, but trust Him for what He has promised.
Across our community, we are already seeing powerful stories of transformation, lives encountered by Jesus, hope breaking into despair, and people discovering true purpose and freedom. These testimonies remind us that God is at work, and they fuel our faith to believe for even more. We long to see many come to know Jesus, relationships restored, the sick healed, and our city renewed by God's presence.
At the heart of this next season is a renewed commitment to prayer. Like Elijah, we choose to contend in faith, even when the evidence isn’t yet visible. We are called to pray with persistence, humility, and urgency, believing that God moves when His people seek Him. This is not a time for comfort or passivity, but for stepping into our role as intercessors for our city, our nation, and the world.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit that refreshes, empowers, and brings new life. We believe God wants to fill His people afresh, equipping us to live boldly for Him in every area of life.

Opportunity to serve
Gas Street simply couldn’t function without our incredible volunteers. While many already give so much of their time, there are multiple opportunities to get involved across our ministries. We need to significantly increase the number of people volunteering on Sundays.
