Gas Street Hope
Through a range of Hope initiatives, we’re seeking to love and serve our city in practical and meaningful ways.
We believe that following Jesus means living with compassion and a deep commitment to justice in everyday life. Through our various ministries, we walk alongside people as they discover their God-given value, purpose, and potential. We’re also part of a wider network of organisations across the city, working together to support those in need and bring hope where it’s most needed.

Each week they go to meet the women that are out on the beat (or red light district) to give them hot chocolate, hygiene products and sandwiches. Even more importantly, it’s their chance to build relationships with the women and offer prayer if they would like. They are always looking for Outreach Volunteers, but also for drivers who are confident and willing to help transport us there and back!

Embrace requires volunteers to be a Christian and plugged into a local church, so that we know they have pastoral support.
